In a statement Tuesday, Chairwoman Lin Bennett said, "Charleston County Republican voters have grown increasingly frustrated with Sen. Graham and his voting record, which are frankly out of step with the beliefs of Republican voters.

Phil Valentine is taking the same stand against Zack Wamp as Davidson County (Nashville, TN) Republican Party Vice Chairman, Matt Collins. Interestingly, the local GOP is trying to remove Collins from office because of his principled stand. Collins, a true conservative and supporter of both Ron Paul and Rand Paul (another thorn in the side of establishment "conservatives") has said Zack Wamp's support for the bailouts does not meet true conservative standards.
