I encourage your support of Dr. Rand Paul both in this stage of decision, and then if the decision to run is made in the affirmative. It is important that we support financially and verbally candidates across the country that truly stand up for liberty. It is of little importance whether candidates of the true libertarian / old right conservative caliber are from the state you reside in or not. Look at all the debate and work the Congressman Ron Paul has accomplished for the nation! I was in a room and personally heard Rand say that his political and economic influences were Ayn Rand (her books like Atlas Shrugged), Ludwig von Mises, Bastiat and Hayek.
